The Monster Weekly

I’ll tell you a story,
I’ll sing you a song–
A tale of this life that I’ve lived for so long.

It begins with a birth
And ends with a death,
As wild as the wind and as brief as a breath.

A journey, a struggle,
Slow and then swift,
A thrilling adventure, a marvelous gift.

Together we’ll laugh,
Together we’ll cry,
As we speak of how quickly a life can fly by.

We’ll share a short moment,
As small as a yawn,
And in a matters of years, we both will be gone.
